MOT Style Servicing
In line with Gas Safe legislation 36a Propeller supports MOT Style Servicing offering more flexibility around service periods.
For example, an appliance can have a last service date (e.g. 01.03.2018), a service interval (e.g. 12 months), a service deadline (e.g. 01.03.2019), a service buffer period (e.g. 2 months) and a reminder buffer period. (e.g. 1 month). Such a scenario would mean that a target service date would be set as 01.01.2019 at the start of the service period and a service reminder triggered the month before, giving you plenty of time to arrange the service. As long as the service is competed within the 2-month buffer period before 01.03.2019, the service deadline would remain 01.03 for the following year.
