Andium Homes, Jersey’s largest provider of social housing, has partnered with Propeller to enhance compliance processes and property data management.
The partnership has seen Propeller develop its first hybrid solution, integrating its cloud-based compliance software with its contractor workforce management system. This enables detailed property data to be shared securely between Andium Homes and its external contractors, improving transparency and accountability.
Propeller’s compliance software analyses inspection schedules and associated documentation for Andium Homes’ portfolio of 4,900 homes. A real-time online dashboard provides key compliance metrics, including the number of properties that are compliant or require a safety check.
Using the Propeller app, external contractors can log maintenance information such as GPS time-stamped photographs, electrical certifications, and records of missed visits. Andium Homes can access this data instantly, gaining a centralised view of compliance and contractor activity.

We needed a single solution that would streamline data collection and enable a proactive approach to property maintenance, ensuring we continue to meet our statutory obligations.
“After exploring Propeller’s capabilities, we saw an opportunity to expand its functionality and have worked in partnership with the team to tailor the solution to our exact needs. Our external contractors now use their own version of the software to record detailed maintenance information, which feeds directly into our central compliance system.
“This enhances our ability to monitor maintenance activities and access key documentation. We can easily upload and report specific property information, providing greater transparency across our compliance processes.”

Andium Homes is also collaborating with Propeller to develop additional functionality, including a contractor portal to support contract and document management. This would allow contractors to upload documents such as insurance certificates, risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work, streamlining administrative processes.
