With the Fire Safety Bill receiving Royal Assent on Thursday 19 April 2021 and became an Act of Parliament and The Building Safety Bill becoming an Act of Parliament on 28 April 2022 there has been an increase for data management within housing to be scrutinised in more depth.
Dame Judith Hackitt in her post Grenfell report recommended a ‘golden thread’ of good quality information, to buildings to be designed, built and managed safely, the golden thread will have to be kept in a digital format. Having the information available digitally will mean it is more accessible and can be easily updated. This means it will be available to the people who need it in order to maintain building safety.
Propeller has been supporting landlords with their golden thread of data by capturing all firefighting asset attributes held within a building and any safety inspections and repairs to the particular asset.
Social housing landlords can start to build up a digital log of all assets that need to be maintained to a cyclical plan and evidence and relevant information should this be required for internal or external auditors. By implementing Propeller your organisation will build key data to keep your boards satisfied and most importantly your customers safe.
Propeller will store asset attributes & images for the lifetime of the asset within the building, Propeller will also hold building information from evacuation plans, floor plans and fire risk assessments, the solution will hold operatives’ credentials, and contact details for any relevant persons for the building. Our solution will collate all data from a particular building and give the landlord a overarching holistic complicate statis with our dashboards to mitigate and reduce risk as and where required.
Propellers document collator can also be used to assist landlords with their building safety cases by simply downloading all the documents for an individual building or asset, with no limit on storage all the history is held within our true cloud based SaaS solution.
