Propeller has unveiled details of its 2026 apprenticeships, attracting more than 200 students at Manchester Metropolitan University’s careers fair.
Propeller joined top North West employers at the event to share information about how it is supporting the next generation of digital talent.
Two trainee opportunities will be available next year, including a Digital and Technology Solutions Apprenticeship and a Digital User Experience (UX) Apprenticeship. Both offer the opportunity to study at Manchester Met while gaining valuable experience working alongside Propeller’s software development and implementation specialists.
On hand to chat to students at the careers fair were Daniel Lloyd, a third-year apprentice at Propeller, and Tom Lucas a former apprentice who graduated this year with a first-class Cyber Security Analyst degree, securing a permanent role as Propeller’s cyber security developer.
Deborah Boden, Director at Propeller, said: “It was brilliant to see so many students excited about digital and technology careers. One of the best parts of the event was watching our past and current apprentices confidently share their journeys.
“Since recruiting our first apprentice in 2021, we’ve benefited hugely from the skills and dedication of young people seeking to make their mark in the digital world.
“Next year will be the first time that we offer a UX apprenticeship, reflecting the growth of our business. We’re keen to help train a specialist whose sole focus is creating the best possible experience for our clients.”
Propeller’s 2025 cohort of apprentices includes junior software engineer Majed Kara-Mohamed and apprentice IT consultants Ryan Prakash and Danielle Meah.
